We're forming the Private Property Project because, politically, groups get results and individuals typically do not.
This organization will not venture into any political areas outside of issues that effect private property ownership.
All that we are saying is that if a school or road cost a few thousand dollars more, that is a small price to pay to insure that Average Americans will receive fair treatment. |
Get Involved The lack of Individual Rights was the reason America was formed. The Founders were fed up with an oppressive government that tried to control every aspect of their lives and thought that they owned everything within their jurisdiction and the Founders did something about it. The situation was bad enough that they were willing to risk everything that they had, their financial security, their future and their very lives because the prospect of continuing down the same path was unbearable. We, every one of us, are beneficiaries of the sacrifices of the proceeding generations and are morally obligated to pass on to future generations an America that is as at least as good as we found it. We are also blessed with not having to fight another revolution because they had the foresight to define our inalienable rights and they gave us the right to shape our own government. We are the government; our elected officials are no more powerful than any of us individually, the power rest in the government, our government, not in the politicians and we have the power to change their behavior or fire them at will. Political leaders can use their position in ways that harm us individually and as a nation but they can not do anything that we as a nation do not give our consent. We can consent by affirmation or by passive inaction but either way we consent. We are forming the Private property Project to provide a united voice to the roughly 4.8 million Georgia Voters (according to polls) that believe that the Right to Own and Enjoy Private Property is a Fundamental American Right. We know that groups get noticed by political leaders and average individuals typically do not; as an individual regardless of the other issues that we all may not agree on, most of agree that we want our homes to be safe from abusive government actions. You’re already a member of this group and all that we are asking you to do is make your membership official; all that is required is for you to do is sign up. There is no charge to join, no meetings to attend and no protesting; all that you need to do is vote for political leaders that most closely represent your values on other issues and absolutely represent your values when it comes to your property rights.
